Whats going on with Kita
1. Tylenol vs Advil/Motrin ~ Tylenol does nothing for me…at.all. Tylenol is safer if you are pregnant but lawd knows I prefer my motrin. I remember when my son was first born he was about to get his one year old shots I gave him Tylenol and that fever would not break. I called my mom she said if you don’t give that boy some motrin I was like but mom the doctor said…….she was like you better do as I say or you will be up all night don’t call me if you don’t want to listen to me. I hung up with my mother and went to the store got some motrin gave it to the baby. Do you know that the fever broke in less than an hr. Of course moms are always right…*side eye to the heavens* . I have never bought Tylenol again I give my kids Advil if they get sick. I take Advil when I cramp (many of them). I do keep Tylenol in my purse for extra back up but normally I will have the entire bottle for a year without hardly touching it. Which one works the best for you?
2. I see you all went to blogalicious last week. I am poor so I could not attend but I got some great info from the tweets and learned a few things enough to feel like I was there. Thanks to all those that tweeted I have my evernote packed with information. Since son had strep throat we decided to chill for the weekend. My car did not crank Saturday or Sunday…rare but I got so much work done including scoring a huge huge press contact for a big company (not telling who just yet) but I was told my Christmas issue has to be on point in order for me to be considered for ad placement. Guess what I am not worrying about being considered just the fact that they looked at my magazine is enough for me and my Christmas issue will be on point. I am doing the actual magazine for the end of the year. If you want to write for our holiday issue email me email@example.com you never know where your writing can lead.
3. This weekend while chilling I cooked with a brand new sauce. Here is my review of it
I am a big fan of the Ray as I call it so the guy was putting this on the shelf when I went to the store he said they just got them in….of course in my language it means I must try it. Decided to put them on my wings. The key to nice krispy wings wash em and fry em. That’s it don’t put no seasonings on it until after its fried only when you are doing wings with sauces. If you are doing fried chicken wangs then by all means season that bad boy. Here is my before pic
Now my after pic
This shat was so good. The hubs was about to bite them fangas off. I recommend this to the fullest if you are doing wings. It was just the right amount of sweet and heat I mean it was so balanced even the kids liked it. The rays did not pay me for this review.
We have a new photo challenge up for the week. Make sure you go and link up I did not do the linky on there this time but if you do a blog post on it let me know in the comments on here or on Kokoa so I can come by and visit.
