Whats going on in my world
1. I have been missing in action with my updates I know. Focus Dezigns is keeping us busy so in lieu of a convo today I thought I would update everyone on whats been going down at the hizzouse…….I first want to say thank you too all my readers without you this blog would not be what it is. Thank you for the comments, the rt’s, the likes, and the sharing. I am always accepting guest bloggers so anytime you want to step in my world please don’t hesitate to ask. 2. I have made things a bit easier in my world by utilizing the new calendar plugin on my blog. On the side I saw a publish date thingy but I never used it I was confused by the time and didn’t know which post was which. I saw one person post about using a calendar so I searched through my thousands of plugins and found one that I could understand and use. People ask me how I keep up with so many blogs (I have 3) its because I post for the entire week for both blogs on Sunday’s that way I am not doing posts in the weekday I am just reading and commenting. Use that calendar people and post. I type fast so I can knock out 6 posts in one hour and be done. Think about what you want to write scour magazines, news articles, life events and then make it your own. The plugin allows me to set up my posts much easier and give them an exact time I want them to go live it also allows me to jot down an idea for a post and come back to it later to finish it up.
3. So I posted a picture on my instagram the other day with some type of exercise thingy. Each month this year I did something new to help with my weight loss. One month I gave up soda, the next month I drank more water, the next month I stopped eating pasta/rice more than once a week, I also gave up one day to have no meat. So far I have been doing good with most. Now it’s time to tackle moving more. Since the kids are back in school I thought it would be nice to take my big butt to the park and walk it out. I plan on walking twice a week around the park (which is 1 mile) about 3 times per day. That’s 6 miles total per week I plan on walking. I will increase the times after I get use to walking. I have my ipod ready to go and I am going to stay committed to doing it.
4. I have not bought new tires since I bought my car off the lot back in 2006. I am a hoarder of money and don’t like spending it. I never could afford brand new tires so we had a tire man we go to to get used tires for my car. I have been buying used tires since 2007. I have needed some new tires since about May of this year and I like to get all 4 at the same time. My tire man has had a hard time finding my size tires lately and only can seem to get me 2 I need all 4 so the hubs was like we may have to just go buy new tires. I didn’t want to I have been hoping my tire man could find my other two tires but the other day I saw thread and knew I would have to kick the money out to get some new tires. After crying for a few hours over the money I would have to spend. We started calling around for the best possible price. We found them through discount tires a new tire place that opened up here in Conyers, GA
They offer free rotation and balance for the life of the tires can’t beat that. They were the cheapest that I could find so I am happy but unhappy I don’t like giving away more than 50 bucks at a time.
